In these- days of proponed international alliances it is interes'mt* to lead of the little, difficulty in which a Chicago newrboy found himself involved, and how he extricated himself therefrom.

"Say." 'ie veiled to a erroup of boys watching tho flight fiom the sidewalk, "is there an Enelish hoy in the crowd.'" "Yes," shouted a stockily-built urch 11 of about his own size.
"Come yere, then." panted tho young American, layintr about him with all his might, "and we'll clean out the hull gang." And they did.
