Vrom our advertising columns it will be seen that the bakers of Dunedin have raited the price of bread from Monday next to 7d the 41b loaf. We are informed that they •have been reluctantly compelled to do this ' owing to the way flour has gone up recently. It is understood that bread has ri-en to this price all over the colony. Tho last occasion on which bread was advanced in Dunedin to 7d for the 41b loaf was on May 16, 1893, the rise on that occasion being as at present, Id.
