CLEARING SALE
The Otago Farmers' Co-operative Association of New Zealand (Limited) report having held a small clearing sale at Shiel Hill on Friday ou behalf of Mrs Reekie. The day was not a veiy favourable one, but there was, nevertheless, a very fair attendance, and under keen bidding, particularly for good cows, every lot changed hands at satisfactoiy prices. Best cows, £6 to £9 ss; others, £1 to d£s 10s; calves, at 12s; pigs, at 15s; sundries, at full rates.
