The weather for the second day of the C.J.C. Easter meeting was fino. The racing wa-> interesting. The course wa=> 111 excellent order. Huku showed out at once in front, Pampero and Cameo, with Skobcloff, Glenaladale, pnd Palaver lying next, and Strathnairn whipping in, a position he occupied the whole way. After running a furlong, Palaver went through, and led Skobeloff and Huku by a clear length, Glenaladale a length away, with Ppmpero and Cameo together. The order was practically unchanged all down the b?ck and lound the top, where Pampero and Cameo started to improve their positions. Palaver wps still in front on the rails turning for home. In a punishing finish from the distance, Palaver held Cameo and P"mpeio, i%ho finished strong on the outside, winning by three-parts of a length; Cameo, a neck away, third.
