{FaoM Our Own Correspondent.) CLYDE, Maich 26. Shareholders in the Dunstan Pioneer Dredging Company complain of the inactivity of the directors? Absolutely nothing appears to have been done since the flotation of the company. The Unity dredge has not started work again, as stated by me last Saturday. The manager informs me that it will take fully a week to complete repairs to the btickota. The Vincent Extended dredge is working very smoothly, as 13 also tho Vincent diedge. March 23. The Vincent County Council recently granted permission to Dr Hyde to dredge a. portion of the river bed lying within the Alexandra Bridge reserve. It has been represented to the council that the permission was .given under H misapprehension, therefore the council has rescinded the refo'ution vesting the right in .Dr Hyde. The who'e question may yield a crop of litigation in the near future. April 1. The necessary timber has arrived for the Old Dunstan pontoons, and the contractor continues the work. The Matau dredge has ceased operations for a day or two to allow of some small repairs to be proceeded with. The Cairnrnuir uiedge machinery is now about fitted up. The Vincent dredge is -still operating in midstream near the Clyde bridge. The Unity dredge v ill resume work again this week. The weather is mild, and the river is steadily falling toward a winter level.
