THE UNREST IN RUSSIA.
ST PETERSBURG, March 26. During the riojts 17 jiersons were killed and 30 wounded at Moscow, while 11 were killed and 22 wounded at St. Petersburg. -'In connection with the murder of M. Bogoliepoff, the Russian Minister of Public Instruction, it ha& been ascertained that 40 students drew lots as to who should commit the deed. March 28. In connection with the riots 2000 students have been arrested at St. Petersburg, Moscow, and Kharkov since March 4. April 1. Kargovitch, the murderer of M. Bogoliepoff, Minister of Education, has been sentenced to 20 years' penal servitude. A number of secret presses and revolutionary documents have been seized at St. Petersburg. A majority of the employees were female students. The order for the disciplinary enrolment of disaffected students in the army has been rescinded. A secret committee of 70 who were directing the recent movement have been captured. LONDON, March 23 The students of Paris and Rome have held large meetings, at which they expressed their sympathy with the Russian students.
