THE PHILIPPINES.
REPORTED CAPTURE OF AQUINALDO. LONDON. March 28. A cab'e received in New York statet that Maccabebes, pretending to betray ad American colonel to the Filipinos, enabled Aquinaldo and his entire staff to be Raptured near Baler, in the island of Luzon, by the Americans. March 29. One of Aquinaldo's officers introduced Colonel Funstone and several Americans and natives to Aquinaldo's presence on the pietence that they were prisoners. They overwhelmed his staff, mounding 16, and carried Aquinaldo aboard a vessel He has been lodged in Manila Gaol till he is disposed to co-operate to end the war.
