DRAUGHTS ITEMS.
Dunedin v. Port and Peninsula.— The return match, Port Chalmers and the Peninsula v. Dunedin will be held in Dunedin on the evening of October 17 (Wednesday). The Walker street Hall has again been secured, and* play) will commence there as soon after 7.30 p.m. ag possible. Already some 40 town players' have been accepted to play and there is a likelihood! of several others being added to the list. Town, representatives will provide boards and men. As the combined team can provide a great number of players the match should prove both a big and mteiesting contest.
