Agriculture. — Ploughing and sowing r.rc about fhnshed m the distinct, the residents making use oi the fine weather to do the usual faim work ut this season of the year. Lambing has 3taited, a few lambs having, appealed. > .Rabbits. — Trapping is again being tried to catch these Jittie animals. The district was poisoned dui:ng the winter months, and, with the pierious tipppin^ and dogging, the rabbits li?vo received a severe check, but no doubt thoj' will increase dm ing the summer as m former years to supply the demand for next sea_on; m fact, ycuag rabbits have been seen m different paits of the district aheady.
