TO TIIE EDITOR. Sir, —ln to-day' a issue I notice that the return for the above-named company's diedge was 17oz; ar.tl that this was for the first 120 hours the dredge has woiked, yet it was intimated that the directors intended altering the pieseiit mode, and use boxes instead of the screen. This, as a shareholder, I ceitainly object to. Seventeen ounces is a leally firstclass return, mid I feel certain the Extended returns will be 30oz per week as soon as she gets a fair face opened out. My advice is wait, and let well alone. —l am, etc.,
