The Agent-general cables: — "Butter 98s, market firm; cheese 525, market rising." Mr Bridgeman, late assistant manager of the Bank of New Zealand, has joined the firm of Neill and Co. (Limifcid), and has been appointed a director.
The Wellington Woollen Company declare the usual dividend ' of 3£ per cent, for the half-year.
