CLUTHA STOCK SALES.
Messrs Maclean and Co. report having held their usual fortnightly sale at Crown yards, Ualclutha, on Friday, when there was a fair yarding of stock, and a good attendance of f aimers and others quite ready for business. Ccn. petition all round was very good, and nearly all the lots offered were cleared at satisfactory prices. We sold for the following ovrers: — Messrs John Campbell (Hillend), D. Mitchell (Wangaloa), James Lamond (Puerua), John Dunne (Balclutha), William Munro (Tciro), R. Houliston (Te Houka), R. H. Wilson (Whitelea), R. Hawker (Stirling), and Mrs Harvey (Stirling) wethers to 14s Id ; ewes to 1] s Bd , hoggets to 9s 9d ; pigs (slips) to 15s ; cattle to £5.
