The Wyndham Church Again. TO THE EDITOR.

Sir, — I am sorry to again trouble you aneut this matter, but I will be brief. Mr Drummond states that I began this correspsndence, and also that I misrepresented matters. -As you are aware, I was replying to the report extracted from the Wyndhsm Farmer and published by you, and which I thought reflected on Mr Sniellie. As to the misrepresentations, Mr Druramond has not attempted to rebut any of my facts, and one of the omissions for which he blames me is that I did not, explain that the lady organist practised the tunes in the church on Saturday evening and Sunday morning. Certainly I did not state that, as it is absolutely untrue that the 3'ouo£ lady practised either on Saturday evening or on Sunday morning, as alleged by Mr Druramond. She, being a proficient musician, did l , not need to do so. Evan though Mr Drum mono" may have believed the above to be true, I do not believe that that was his sola reason for absenting himself that Sabbath morning. Mi 1 Drnmmond eyidently wishes the outside put lie to believa that his wife has been sole honorary organist aver since the introduction of instrumental music into the church. Mr Druminonil's hostility to Mr Smellie is apparent throughout thß whole of his letter, which is a long r^saarolPi and stoves nothing.— l am, etc.,

.David Douix.
