M'lntosh.— ln loving remembrance of our dear little Johnnie, ;who departed this life at Palmerston on May 31, 1897.
The shock was great, tbe pain severe, To part with one who was so dear ; Our trial was hard"; we'll not complain, But trust in God to meet again. We placed his hands down by his side, And kissed his'cold, cold brow ; And iv our aching hearts we know That God is love, and willed it so. — Inserted by his loving parents and relations.
THtrRSTON. — In loving remembrance of my dear wife, Mary Ann Thureton, who died at Wendonside, 3rd June, 1897 ; aged 33 years. Her husband, eight sons, and a daughter mourn her losa.—C. G. Tnurstou.
