Grant— Russell.— On the 25th May, at Pembroke, by the Key. James Gumming, M.A., ' Cromwell, the P.ev. William Kerr Grant, M.A... Presbyterian minister, Pembroke, to Celia Isabella Russell, second daughter of the late Theodore Russell.
Hudson— Jacobs —On the 19th May, 1898 , a Dunedin, Richard James Hudson, eldest son of Richard Hudson, Dunedin, to Ruby Rebecca (Milly) Jacobs, second daughter of Samuel Jacobs, of Dunedin.
Hudson — Gregory. — On the 24th May, at Dunedin, by the Rev. Mr Somerville, of Waihola, Arthur Durant Hudson, third son of Richard Hudson, of Dunedin, to Eleanor Louisa Gregoiy, fourth daughter of James Gregory, of Waihola. M'Oartney— Farquharson.— On the 11th May, at the residence of the bride's parents, Green Hill (near Port Chalmers), John James, elder son of George M'Cartney, Portobello, to Janet, becond daughter of James Fatquharsan.
Marshall — Houliston —On the 11th May, at the residence of the bride's parents, Sunnyside, Kakapuaka, by the Rev. 8. W. Currie, Donald Marshall to Jane Lowrie, eldest daughter of Adam Houliston.-
Todd— Chambers.— On the 10th April, at St. Peter's Church, Chefoo, North China, by the Rev. H. Kathews, James Henry, third son of Rev. A. B. Todd, Dunedin, to Aiay Constance, third daughter of Rev. John Chambers, Enniscovthy, County Wexford, Ireland, and both of the China Inland Mission.
