Gray.— On the 30th May, at his residence, corner Duke and Queen streets, Mr John Gray (late Bank of New Zealand) ; aged 67 years. Deeply regretted.
Kingsford.— On the 7th May, at Alexandra, Victoria, F. E. Kingsford, father of E. Kingsford, Parkside, Caveruham ; in his eighty-ninth year.
Mason.— On the 3 1st May, at her residence, Clyde street, Balclutha, Ellen, the beloved wifa of Peter Mason ; aged 62 year s. Her end was peace. O'Brien.— On the 19th May, 1898, at Wairio,'. Stephen, beloved second sen of Patrick and Bridget O'Brien, and brother of O'Biien Bros., of Greenvale ; aged 27 years. R.I.P. Porter.— On the 29th May, at the Caversham Hotel, Elizibeth, beloved wife of Fraucis Porter.
Rollins. --On the 26th May, at her residence, Purakanui (after intense suffering), Elizabeth Rollins ; aged 68 years. Home at last. Sister Mary Anne.— On the 26th May, at St. Dominick's Priory, Dunedin (after a protracted illness), Sister Mary Anne R.I.P. Strain.— On the 29th " May, at his residence, Milburn, Tokomairiro, William Strain, farmer, beloved husband of Helen M'Kee ; aged 60 years. Deeply regretted. Thomson.— On the 26th May, at Waikaka, Margaret Reid, the beloved wife of 'Ihomas Craig Thomson ; aged 60 years. Deeply regretted.
