Zealand there are special . difficulties in the- way "~™ of procuring the large number of engravings for reproduction which are available in Great Britain, New Zealand newspapers will not be backward in this respect in their recognition of the great event which is now arousing so much enthusiasm throughout the Empire. i In addition to the interesting engravings which at the time of Her Majesty's Jubilee in 1887 gave faithful representations of the Queen and the Eoyal Family at various times during Her Majesty's Reign, ths proprietors of the Witness have secured at considerable cost the MOST RECENT PORTRAITS of THE QUEEN, The Prince and Princess of Wales, The Duke and Duchess op York, and Prince Edward of York. The Illustrated Supplement to be published with the Otago Witness of June 17 will therefore include a complete pictorial representation of the Queen and Her Majesty's descendants who are in direct succession to the throne, together with the other branches of her family, from the time of her early childhood to the present day.
