A GIRL'S LIFE SATED AT NEUTRAL BAY.

In the picturesque suburb of Neutral Bay, Sydney, resides Miss Mashford, a young lady of prepossessing appearance, who seems likely to furnish her friends and neighbours with a topic of conversation which will in all probability bo discussed for some time to come. In an interview with a representative, Miss Mashfcrd made the following interesting and surprising statement ; — " I am now nearly 21 years of age, and I have never been strong in my life. About the beginning of March, 1896, I. began to feel worse than I ever had felfc before. I had a terribly languid feeling — the least exertion made me feel tired, in addition to which I Buffered excruciating pains from neuralgia, which quite unfitted me for any active pursuit. My appetite was nl«o very poor, and I had almost a dread of food. I speat a great deal of money in buying tonics), trusting that some one of them would relieve me ; but none of them did me any pood. But one day, quite by accident, I heard of d/ Williams' Pink Pills ior Pale People through one of my friends, and a few <laye after a pamphlet; was left at our house (Woodvillo), and on reading it I thought one ucss in which a permanent cure had been effected was very similar to my own — namely, bloodlessness, or .what is called anromia. I, therefore, determined to get some, aud bought by iirsb box from Mr Medd, of the Military road, Neutral Bay, the local chemist. I commenced taking them according to the printed directions on the wrapper."

" Did this box do you any good, Miss Mashford ? "

" Indeed, it did ; and I was badly in need of something to benefit me, for I muafc tell you that aS this time I was sent up to Hornsby for a change of air, the state of my health being such as to cause my relatives considerable alarm. However, this one box did me so much good that I determined to continue with them, and I sent for five more boxes, which I cook."

"And you now feel ever so much better ? " " Most certainly I do. Apart from how much better I feel, my aunt and others tell me my complexion has improved amazingly, and my mirror, which I occasionally look at," she naively remarked, "tells me the same story. I am now able to- go about in my old style, and my health improves daily." " And you attribute all these improvements in your health and appearance to taking Dr Williams' Pink Pills ? "

" Well, as I have taken no other medicine, ib must be the pills that have wrought this benefit. I shali always fully believe in them, and shall recommend them to all my friends. V (Signed) "B D. Mashford."

[In subsequent conversation with Mr Medd. the chemist of Neubral Bay, our reporter elicited that Mr Medd knew Miss Ma'shford well, and was rejoiced to observe the striking improvement Dr Williams' Pink Pills had effected in her. Mr Medd added that he had a t,ood sale for the pills about Neutral Bay, and that doubtless as toon as the recovery of Miss Mashford became generally known tho sale would materially improve ] The facts above related are important to girls just budding into womanhood', whose condition is, to say the least, more critical than their parents imagine. Their complexion is pale and waxy in appearance, troubled with heart palpitation, headaches, shortness of breath on tbe slightest exercise, faintness, and other distressing symptoms which invariably lead to a premature grave unless prompt steps are takan to bring about a natural condition of health. In this emergency no remedy yet discovered can supply the place of Dr Williams' Pink Pills, which build anew tho blood, strengthen, tbe nerves, and restore the glow of health to pale aud sallow cheeks. They are a certain cure for all troubles peculiar to the female system, young an old. Pink Pills also cure such diseases as rheumatism, neuralgia, partial paralysis, locomotor ataxia, St. Vitus' dance, nervous headache, nervous prostration, the after effects of la grippe, influenza, and severe colds, diseases depending on humors in tho blood, such as scrofula, chronic erysipelas, &c. In the case of men they effect a radical cure in all cases arising from mental worry, overwork, or excesses of any nature.

These pills are not a purgative. They are genuine only with the full name, Dr Williams? Pink Pills for Pale People, and are sold by chemists, and by Dr Williams' Medicine Company, Wellington, New Zealand, who will forward, post; paid, on receipt of sttnips or poifc order, one box for 33, or half dozen for 153 9d. They are unrivalled as a tonic for both sexes.
