REPAIRS TO DAMAGED BAIL WAYS. Wellington, May 1.

The repair* to the damaged railway line* have so far progressed that on and after Monday trains will run to time tablfc both to Wai>g»nui and Napier. Within the month it is expected to resume goods traffic.

Since February tbe selectors in arrears in tho Wellington district decreased from 1379 to 647, and the amount owing from £14,100 to £6343. Of those still in debt, only 408 owe one payment.
