Tothill. Watson, and Co. lepo-t having held their fortnightly sale at the InveiCßrgHl saleyards on Tuesday. The entries in all closes were large and prices all round showed an improvement on last sale-, more especially bo for forward turnip sheep, which were greatly in demand, a line of four-tooth we.htirs reaching 11s 61, and others selling leadily at from 10s upwards. Fat Cattle.— lol head yaro'ed, including some very nice quality bt-ef. Best bullocks reached £7 15s ; good, £(i 10s to £7 2s fid ; medium, £5 15s to £6 ss; light, £5 to £5 10s ; best heavy cows, £7 12s b'd ; olhers, £3 5s to £3 17s (id. Fat Sheep.— ll6l penned. Best wethers, 11s. 2d to 11s Gd ; good. 10s to 10s lOd ; best ewes, 8s to 9s ; other-, 4s 2d to 7s 2d ; best ewes and wethers, mixed, lls Id ; good, 10i to 10s Gd ; light, 9s. Store Sheep. — 4292 penned. Breeding owea brought from 9a 8d to 10< 2d for best ; othei s, 3s 9d to 8s ; lambs, from 33 3d for culls up to 8s 9d for medium Borts ; store wethers, 8s S'd to lls (31. Store Cattle.— 223 head yarded. The demand ■was dull, and most lots were turned out, calves selling at 15? ; yearlings, 30s ; two-year-olds, from £3 to £3 10s.
