ADDINGTON STOCK MARKET.

Chuistchukch, April 28. Large entries and a good attendance at the Addingtou market to-da3', but business was irregular. .Fat Ualtle.— The wesk's supply consisted of 166 head, and (with the exception of threa very prime heifers, which alone met with good competition, and changed, hands at £7 103 apiece) the sale was extremely dull and lifeless, and several lots were withdrawn. Prices per 1001b show no change— viz., ]f?s to 18s for prime quality, jmd 13s to ]5s for inferior to medium sorts. Prices par head were : Steer*, £1 12s «i to £6 12* fid ; heifeis, £3 12s 6d to £H ; cows, £3 15s t/> £5 17s fJd. Fat Sheep —Between 7000 and SOOO sheep occupied the fat pens, and amoiigst thes>e was a much larger proportion' than Übual of good freezing wethers and mixed sexes. Although these sold at well up to last week's price? there was not the same animation in the bidding. Good freezing wether 3 brought from 12s to Hs ; medium do and mixed, to fla tSd ; good young owes, 8s Sd to 10s ; aged do, fo M to 7s Hd ; merino wethers, 7a to 103 Id : do etves, oj to 9s 4.1.

Fafc Lamb*. — Another large yarding of fat lainba came to hand, and there was a larger proportion of really good quality freezing. Buyers were operating freely, and showed a decided preference for any lamb.s of Cheviot Down ewes. Good freezing lambs brought from 10s to lls u'd.
