B ERWICK.
April 26. — The fust social in connection with the Hiseand Shine Lodge, Berwick, wtp held in the schoolroom on Monday, the 19 h. There was a large attendance of members aud Iheir friends. The meeting was opened with a pianofoite solo, followed by a number of sonas and recitations, which were thoroughly eajoyed by the audience. A vole of thanks was passed by tho hodge Dipnt.v (Mr M'lndoe) for tho excellent supper provided by the lady menibet^ of th'i lodge, and also to thtf uoviovnuerii for tbeir kind rerviees.
