The ordinary meeting, held on Tuesday, April 13, was attended by Messrs J. M'lntyre (in the chair), A. Baldey, and Duncan King.

The ranger reported on the application of W. P. Lawrence for a grazing right over sections between Waimatuaand Woodend. — Sections to be put up to auction.

F. F. Twemlow and James Johnston wrote requesting that the tramway be closed m section 6, block 111, Seauard Bush township, and for authority to use the tramline through sections 8 and 9 as a road for access to the town belt road. — After discussion it was decided that the members present in-pect the lccilfty.

A title was granted to C. H. J. Clare U. respect of section 65, block V, Campbelltowa Hundred.

It was decided to recommend the Minister to approve cf titles being granted to John Arthur and Patrick Fordo for sections ab Longwpod.

Tiansfers were granted as follows: — Louis Garden to Henry Garden, section. 12, block IV, Longwood ; Thomas Lockerbie to Ebenezer Lockerbie, section 820, Hokonui ; Ebenezer Lockerbie to Thomas Lockerbie, section 813, Hokonui. An application to withdraw from a transfer from Thirza George to Mary Pay of seotion 13, block V, Makarewa, waa granted.

Routine business was transacted, and the board adjourned.
