PRESENTATION.

A limelight entertainment was given on the I sth met. by Mr Eunson to the members of the Chinese class in the Methodist Central Mission Hall, Stafford street. There were be"tween 60 and 70 members present," also a number cf Europeans. The Chinamen mads a pprese- t tat ion to the Rev. W. How, one of the members, made the presentation, and the following ( address was read :—: —

To the Rev. W. Ready, of Dunedin. —Rev. sir,— "We, the undeibigntd, Chinese resiflenta of Dundin and suburbs herewith beg to oifcr you our very best wishes for your welfare cm your departure from Dunediu ; al=o, to thank you for your many great acts of kindness and untiring exertions t'- benefit us in our position, both spiiitually and morally and temporally. We wish that you may live many years to carry on your valuable •teaching. We trust time will never eradicate from our hearts your many »cts of kindness to us while strangers in a foreign land. Trusting that we may all meet again, if not here, iv that bright and happy land, where the wicked cease from troubling and the weary are a r , rest, and all mortals arc equal.— Signed on behalf, Ching Suing, Cms How, Cuing Pong, and 50 others.
