Te Mare has again commenced Activity, although a strong eout-herly breeze scatters the eruptive matter, "preventing a good view From being obtained of the mountain from Tanpo. News from Tofca»nu states that the eruption started about '4 *urn. yesterday, although not so heavy as previously. At Tanpo rather a prolonged earthquake was felt yesterday afternoon at 4- o'clock, preceded by & rumbling. This probably has some connection with Te Mare's proceedings.
An Archbishop of Canterbury has to pay out tearly £900 in fees before ha cau be tnttu'cmed.
