• : December 13-—T he Rongahere School was examined by Inspector Fitzgerald on the 28th 'ult. Tho examination was very successful, and the inspector was well pleased with the progress of ' the ichool 'during the past year. The singing, leading, and poetry were exceptionally good, and the result musfi be very gratifying to the teacher, -as there waS'Gnly one failure. The annu-tl picnic' and distribution of prizes takes place on Uie T9ch December. A flight ercor crept into my report of a ' concerf; held lately. The concert was held at Hongahere, not Tuapeka Mouth.
