BEAUMONT.

December. 15. — A fatal accident occurred, on Sunday, Bth. inst., when a son of Mr BorLhwick was drowned in the Taflaburn creek. It appears tbat the unfortunate lad, along with a companion, was. on a visit to his brother, who is working on the Beaumont station, and that wh^n returning they found the creikat the cros:inj? in high flood, on account of the heavy raiua.
