CASUALTIES.

A child, four years old, the daughter of Edward Fitzpatriok of Auckland, was playing near a flro when her clothes caught alight. She died from the injuries. A young man named Daniel Gallran, of Rangiriri, Auckland, was injured while bush falling by a tree falling on him. It is believed his spine ia injured. A man named John Bates was admitted to the hospital on Monday suffering from an injury to his thigh caused by falling against the kerb* ing of a footpath at Milton. .
