DUNEDIN HORSE SALE YARDS. Weekly Report.

• Messrs Wright, Stephenson, and Co. report &s follows :— The demand for all classes of horses at our weekly sale on Saturday was good, and a larger than umal was disposed of at quotations. There waa a fair inquiry for good active horses suitable for spring van or spring cart. The principal entry was a draft of light harness horses from Christchurch, which realised satisfactoryppries to the vendor. The balance of the entries consisted, for the greater part, of springcarters, hacks, and harness hor3es, and, except in cases where owners were not prepared to accept snarket value 3, they all found purchasers at full market rates. Next Saturday being a race day We will hold our usual weekly sale on Monday, ,2nd December, when we shall offer some blood Btock We again take the opportunity of reminding our friend of the sale of Mr J. J. Miller's American trotting horses. which .mil be held at our yardß on Friday, 29th Inst., at 10 o'clock. We quote s Heavy •(draughts, four to six years, £22 to £27 ; do, eight to len years. £15 to £20 ; medium draughts, four to six years,-£ls to £20 ; light and small do, £8 to £12 ; hged and inferior do, £4 to £7; upstanding spriogkjart horses, young and sound, £12 to £16 ; wellbred upstanding hacks and harness horaea, £16 to #20 ; upstandirig hacks and harness horses, £10 to Kl4 ; aged and inferior. £2 to £5.
