Of these, 29 pronounced the crescent the most productive variety ; 39 named Michel's early as the earliest ; 22 gave the Parker Earle as the best late variety, and 16 named the Gandy as such. For the best all-round berry the Wilson received 20 votes, cresent 16, Bubach 10, Parker Earle 7, and so on down to cue vote each for many varieties. Professor Biiley, in commenting on the result of the investigation, says that the Wilson is, taken altogether, evidently the most popular strawberry in Western New York.
