There are buyers of Crown at 425, Woodstock 325, Waits* kauri GOa, and Alpha 7s (with no sellers). Advances are recorded in roost of the cheap stocks." A n Auckland telegram states that Waitekauri shares have been Bold at 70s, Alpha 7s 2d, KaipaiVerraont 7s 2d," Grace Darling 34 Bd, ana Owharoa 4s 3d. For Woodstocks buyers now offer 365, and there are no sellers. Crown, buyer* 425, sellers 475 ; May Queen, sales 10s ; Hazelbanfr, sales 6s 8d; Norfolk, sales 4s 6d; Waihi-Silverton, sales 535.
Auckland, August 9. The Tararu Creek Company's property consists of 150 acres at Tararu, Thames, including tha Norfolk, Sunbeam. Excelsior, and Dunedia
claims. The Norfolk proprietors take 21,248 shares paid up ; . the .Dunedin, 76§0 shares ; the Sunbeam and Excelsior, 6100 between thorn. Good news has been received from the WaihiSilvprton lode, the cut in the low level showing fie* gold. Shares are rising rapidly, and are quoted this morning at 5Ss 6d. Try fluke shares have advanced from 10a yesterday to 12s 6d this morning.
