The Grape Question.

TO THE BDITOB.

Sib, — The questions which jour Clyde correspondent asked I have oiready answered and explained clearly enough in my former letter for ■ any man with ordinary intelligence to understand. If your correspondent has not got this it oan do no good to reprint it. I have never sent any grapes for distribution among friends in Dunedin. It was neither exlriordinary nor unexpected for my grapes to be ripe at the time of the show, as tbe same class of grapes always ripen in the open air in February. Your correspondent now states that tbe out-door grown grapes were apparently ripe, which proves tbat his former statement was not correct. As that is all I have contended for, I shall say no more at present. — I am, &0., A. C. IVEBSEN.

Alexandra South, August 12.
