Messrs Wilmam E. Reynolds and Co., Stafford street, report for the week ending December 18, 1804, as follows :— Wool —We have little new t > add regarding this, as prospects are much tho same as when last reporting. The Chri tclmrch salts were none too animated, and a con- iderable quantity was pas-ed in. Our sales open here on Thursday with fairsized catalogues, and we hope to see a good attendance of buyers, and trust there will be spirited competition. We will have a full report of our ssle in the Times of Saturday, when our many clients will be able to get full information as to prices, Ac. Oats —This week these have been bringing considerably higher prices, and a fair demand exists for all classes. Whether they will keep up or not remains to be seen. Stocks are light, which will tend to improve matters ; but, on the other hand, the Bluff is coinpctiug strongly, as holders there are now anxious to clear, and this will not improve our export business. Locally » fair demand exists. We quote : Prime milling. Is 5Jd to Is 6d ; prime feed, Is 4Jd to Is 5d ; good stout, Is 4d to Is 4jd ; medium, Is 3Jd to Is 3?dWhe .t. — Very little business doing, and market quiet. Buyers are fairly well stocked, and do not seem disposed to operate. Prime velvet, 2s 10d to 2s lOJo 1 ; pi-ime Tuscan, 2s 9d ; red wheat, 2s 7d to 2s 8d ; fowls' feed, 2s 4d to 2s 6d. Chaff . — Supplies about equal demand, consequently pricei remain unchanged. Prime, £2 12s 6d ; good, £2 5s to £2 10s ; medium, £1 15s to £2 2s 6d.

Potatoes.— These are considerably better this week owing to consignments fulling off. Best, £1 15s to £2 2s 6d ; good, 30s to 32s 6d.
