MINING CERTIFICATES.
Wellington, July 2.
A meeting of the Board of Examiners under the Coal Mines and Mining Act was held today, when the following "passes" were recorded :—
First-class Mine Manager's Certificate under the Mining Act— F. W. Luick (Thames), Tietnay (Thames), W. J. Stanford (Danedin). Engine Driver's Certificate- -M. Ross (Reefton), SS.Cook (Dunedin), T. MAuley (Reefton), C. H. Lome (Reefton), W. Wynn, jun. (Reefton). First-class Mine Manager's Certificate under the Coal Mines Act — M. Milligan (Oenniston). David Reid (Kaitangata) was granted a New Zealand certificate for an engine driver on pro* duction of one from Queensland.
