Perth, July 2.
News has been received from Southern Cress of a marvellous find of gold made by a party of Sydney prospectois near Coolgardie. They obtained 42800z of gold from less than two tons of stone, one piece of quartz weighing 3001b being sold for L2OOO. If the gold continues down as at present for 100 ft it will be worth L 1,000,000. This is said to be the richest patch of gold unearthed in any part of the world.
