DUNEDIN HORSE SALEYARDS.
Weekly Report. Messrs Wright, Stephenson, and Co. report as follows : — The demand at our sale on Friday was confined almost entirely to draught and spring cart horses, of which there was a moderately large entry. Light harness horses and hacks were also fairly well represented, but the inquiry for them was very slight indeed. We have a few inquiries for strong young carriage horses and shall be glad to receive particulars of any that may be for Bale. We quote : First-class draughts (extra heavy), £25 to £30 ; good ordinary draughts (young), £18 to £22 ; medium draughts, X'l2 to £16 ; aged draughts, £6 to £10; pood hacks and harness horaes, £12 to £16 ; medium do, £7 to £9 ; light and inferior do, £2 10 ato £5.
