Boreham v. Reid. — A portion of the paragiaph on this subject last week should have read:— "The reference to this matter in the Echo was published without my knowledge, or it would never have appeared." Mr Reid's explanation is, therefore, that the statement that Mr Boreham failed to conclude arrangements for a match, and took flight to New Zealand, i 3 false ; and that he (Mr Reid) did not turn up to meet Mr Boreham because he knew of no such arrangement. Last week's paragraph has been misconstrued.
