NOTES BY JACK.
At the annual meeting of the Taieri Bowling Club, Mr Inglis, the mayor, who presided, stated that the club had gone back during the year to the extent of £10. It was decided that no intoxicating liquor should be allowed on the green. The following office-bearers were elected : — President, Mr H. H. Inglis ; vicepresident, Mr John Dryden ; secretary, Mr J. H. Murdoch ; treasurer, Mr J. H. Inglis ; committee— Dr Allan, Messrs R. Hislop, J. F. Leary, W. Christie, sen., W. Wedderspoon, D. Campbell, J. Spence, A. Prentice, and W. Smith ; delegates to the association, the president and Dr Allan.
