TOMAHAWK ROAD BOARD.
The regular monthly meeting of the Tomahawk Road Board was held on Saturday last, and attended by Messrs S. L Brookes (acting-chair-man), W. Stuart, J. Mathison, J. Patrick, and T. Henderson. It was resolved that the surfaceman be instructed to put 40 yards of metal and clay on the road from the big culvert at the foot of the hill; also that Mr Docherty be instructed to quarry and bieak 40 yards of metal at the same price as former contract, and that the surfaceman repair the road in front of Mr Smail's property, MrSmail kindly lending hw horse and dray, lor the carting. It was resolved that the meetings be held at 7.30 p.nr-. on the first Saturday of each month. Accounts were passed for payment to the amount of £16 19s 9d.
