WYNDHAM RACES. Monday, January 2.
The weather was beautifully fine and pleasant for the Wyndham races, held to-day on the club's picturesque course near the township. About 800 holiday-makers were present ; entries were good, and fairly interesting in all the events, bar the Wyndham Handicap, for which only Finetta and Billy started. The sum of £1155 was passed through the totalisator. Horseowners were pleased with the course, the public with the beautiful scenery, and the club with the financial success of the meeting.
