FIVES MATCH.
The annual friendly game of fives between the Dunedin Bowling, Lawn Tennis, and Fives Club and the University was played en Saturday afternoon at the club's court. The result, as will be seen from the appended scores, was a most decisive win for the 'Varsity men, who simply ran over their opponents, with the solitary exception of the double played by Murray and Manning, which was virtually won on the serve. Of the singles, that between Campbell and Smith proved the most interesting, some good rallies taking place. Scores t— University. Dunedin. DOUBLES. AWn J- Gillies Black. 21 J.L.
