The surveyed sections have been laid out 80 as to include some low with the high country, and wherever possible a homestead nlte has been included on each block, though in some cases this was not possible, as the existing freeholds extended too far up the mountain side. The subdivision boundaries have been marked on the ground by trenches and lines cut through the tussocks, and the boundaries of the existing freeholds, where not fenced, have also been re-marked and flagged on the ground. Applications for surveyed land made on the same day shall be desided by lot, but priority of application on the same day for unsurveyed land Bhall determine the right thereto. Agents must attach to their application a written authorisation to act. Printed forms of authorisation, or the declaration required, can be had on application at the Land Offices, Ohristchurch or Timaru.
