Meßßrs Lobib and Roy, auctioneers and produce agents, High street, Dunedin, report for the week ending April 30 as follows : — At our weekly sale of produce there was a large attendance, and very fair prices ruled. With the exception of two lines of Sydney oranges, which came to hand rather green, everything offered was sold. Poultry were in gdod demand. Well grown young cocks brought 2s 6d to 3s ; bens (old), Is lOd to 2s 3d ; ducks, 3s 6d to 4s ; geese, 6s. Kidney Potatoes, 40s ; Derwents, 60s to 70s ; onions, £4 10s. alt butter, 6d to 8d ; inquiries for prime at latter price but very little offering, most in the market being storekeepers' lots ; fresh butter, 8d to lOd ; oheese, 3Jd to 4d; eggs, Is lOd. Local fruit: Cooking apples, lfd; eating, 2d to2M; pears, 2Jd to 2§d ; plums, 2sd to 3d. Hobart apples : Cooking, 5s case ; eating, 7s ; Sydney orange), 6s to 6s ; Fiji, 6b ; Tahiti, 7s.
