Wilson; deputy-captain, J". ounesß; secretary and treasurer, A. Basket; match committee, Messrs A. Wilson. Stauley filler, and J. Souness. The president has very kindly placed a suitable ground at the disposal of the club, where practice matches will be held every Saturday afternoon. As thera are a few weeks of the current season yet to run the newly-formed ciab anticipate playing one or two matches with the neighbouring clubs, so that there is every probability of a good team being brought together, and they will doubtless give a I good account ,of themselves next season. The club has a membership of 30 to start with. Concert.—A concert and dance iB to be hald in the Good Templars' Hall on .Saturday evening. The Eroceeds are in aid of the district school prize fund.. ohool concerts hitherto have always been well attended, and as the programme put forth on this occasion is a very good one, there will no doubt be a bumper house.
