Mr Wyllie, writing from Lyttelton on the 11th inst. states that his New Zealand score is now 4989 games. Out of that number ha has won 4774, lost 7, »nd 208 were drawn. Mr Wyllie did not leave for Melbourne last week as intended, as tha Lyttelton players coaxed him to stay, but he expects to leave this we-R. The office-bearers of the Miltou club were to be c ected on Tuesday evening last. Forty players have already joined, and Mr W.. Taylor has generously presented them with 10 boards and men to s,tart with.
