An interesting match is under way between the Seyiors and Juniors of the Invercargill Chess Club. Seniors : Messrs Webber, Heath, Tame, Scott, Smith, Mitchell. Morrish, and the Rev. Mr Isitt. Juniors : Messrs Willcox, Stewart, Edwards. Duplock, Rout, Ham, Lindsay, and Whittaker. The winners so tar are Messrs Stewart Duplook, Lindsay, Smith, Tame, and Morrish, but as other 10 games are to play it is hard to say which side will win.
