Qualifications : A good education, an earnest spirit a cheerful and amiable disposition, good character, and a sound conbtitution. Age : Between seventeen and twenty-one. Period of Service : Five years from the Ist October next, including a probationary term of six months. Salary, in addition to board in the institution : £50 for the first year, with an annual increase of £10. A certificate will be given at the end of five years to testify that the teacher has received complete training in the "articulation method" of instruction for the deaf.
