Weight, Stephenson, and Co. report as follows : —
We held our weekly sale on Saturday last as usual. Only a moderate number of horses came forward, and as the export trade is at present almost at a standstill, but little business was done. A few useful draughts changed hands at quotations We quote first-class draughtsat from £20 to £27 ; medium, £14 to £18 ; good hacks aud strong light harness horses, £15 to £20 ; medium. £10 to £12 ; light and inferior, £1 to £4.
