TAIERI CALEDONIAN SPORTS.
This Taieri Caledonian Society's sixteenth annual gathering took place at Mosgiel on Boxing-ilay, on the cricket ground. The events were keenly contested, and Messrs J. White, J. Spenoe, and W. Smellie gave almost universal satisfaction as handicappers. Mr (J. L. Kussell acted as starter. The Mosgiel Factory Brass Band was on the ground, and played some selections in very good style.
