(PROM OUR OWN CORRBBi'ONDK.NT. ) July H. Accident.— A serious accident happened on the "2nd inst. to Mr J. L. M'Grogor. a well-kuowa settler on tht) Peninsula, while assisting in unloading a cart of screenings, in which thero was an iron rail of about three hundredweight. Mr M'Gregor having removed the back ond of the cart, and not .noticing the iron Mil, on the driver tilting the cart the rail fell, btriuing him, inflicting a severe wuu»d in the hoad and breaking his ollav-bone. Dr Coughtroy attended to his injuries, and I am hap^y to tay that Mr M'Grcgor 13 now in a fair way towards recovery. Gknkraij — The Agricultural Association formed at Sundymount si me mouths Mgo has lately been turned info a Mutual Improvement Society, whore all matters of [ raetical interest will bo discussed.
